Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
Airline fare rules
Refund eligibility is governed by the fare rules of the operating airline, ticketing airline, and fare type booked. Non-refundable fares generally cannot be refunded except where required by airline policy or applicable law. Partially refundable fares are subject to airline cancellation penalties, fare differences, supplier fees, and any disclosed MSK Flights service fees.
24-hour cancellation requests
If you contact us within 24 hours of purchase, we will review whether the itinerary qualifies for a void, cancellation, or refund under the airline's rules and applicable regulations. A 24-hour request does not guarantee a free cancellation for every fare, especially for departures close to purchase time, international suppliers with different rules, or tickets already issued under restrictive fare conditions.
How to request a refund or change
Contact us at [email protected] or (800) 245-3250 with your booking reference as soon as possible. Please include the passenger name, airline confirmation or booking reference, travel date, route, and the reason for the request. Change and refund requests are not complete until we confirm that the airline or supplier has accepted the request.
Processing timeline
Eligible refund requests are typically submitted to the airline or supplier within 3 business days after approval and receipt of all required information. Airline or supplier processing commonly takes 7–21 business days, but complex cases can take longer. Credits to the original payment method may take an additional 3–10 business days depending on the bank, card network, or payment processor.
Service fees
Where MSK Flights charges a service fee for booking, support, exchange, cancellation, or refund handling, that portion is generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed or the requested service has been performed. Any airline penalties, fare differences, supplier fees, or card processing limits are separate from MSK Flights service fees.
Ancillary services
Seats, baggage, meals, priority boarding, and other add-ons are controlled by the airline or supplier. Some ancillary purchases are non-refundable even when a ticket is refundable. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis according to the supplier's policy.
No-shows
Passengers who do not check in and do not cancel in advance may forfeit the full ticket value.
Involuntary changes
If an airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you may be entitled to a refund, rebooking, waiver, or travel credit under the airline's policies or applicable regulations. Contact us immediately for assistance, and we will help submit the request to the airline or supplier.
Original form of payment
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original form of payment. We cannot guarantee that a refund can be redirected to a different card, bank account, or person. If the original payment method is closed, your bank or card issuer controls how the credit is handled.
